Our four locations in Amsterdam each have their own character, but share the same essentials: the smell of freshly brewed coffee and oven-baked goods from morning to afternoon.

From a hidden terrace in De Pijp to a sunny spot by a centuries-old windmill at the edge of the Jordaan, every louf location offers a little pocket of calm in the city.

louf de molen

This special place at the edge of the Jordaan almost makes you forget you’re in Amsterdam. With a cosy interior and generous terrace, it’s perfect for long catch-ups.

What makes this spot truly unique is our neighbour, De Otter: a historic wood-sawing windmill dating back to 1603. Every Tuesday, the mill comes to life, and you’re welcome to explore it with guidance from the millers who care for it.

A small bakery named 'bakkerij louf' in a building with blue wooden siding, surrounded by flower planters and greenery, with a traditional Dutch windmill in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

louf oud west

This was our very first location, next to café binnenvisser. Our Bilderdijkstraat neighbourhood bakery is known for its generous pastry selection and laid-back vibe. The long bench outside is the ideal place to soak up the morning sun.

You’ll also find a curated collection of culinary books — a little extra for those who love to browse between bites.

louf de pijp

Tucked away in De Pijp, just off the Albert Cuyp market, our hidden terrace is perfect for easy mornings. With its sunny seating and cosy corners, it’s a welcoming place to pause, meet friends, and take a little breather from the local liveliness.

With plenty of room, it's an ideal spot for a lunchtime sandwich with your favourite cup of coffee.

louf westerpark

Right by Westerpark, this bakery is where all our sourdough bread begins. You can watch the bakers at work while you order your favourite loaf or coffee at the counter.

There’s no seating here, but inside you’ll discover a carefully chosen selection of cookbooks, curated in collaboration with De Kookboekhandel.
